Well, I, unfortunately, have a very difficult time and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I'm trying to code my 28mm f2 Voigtländer Ultron to a Summicron-M 28mm f2, but it won't get recognized.

I wonder... does everyone's Leica M-Adapter L feel very tight, but with no definite "click" as to when the lens is positioned correctly?

I have an old Lumix GF1 and it has a very definite "click", but on the TL2 with the official adapter there isn't really one for me...

Mine does click normally. You may wish to check if the flange is not too tight. Check also that your coding pits are painted at the right places. See a Summicron flange below.
