Have a look here:

https://www.dpreview.com/articles/6144418951/what-difference-does-it-make-sony-uncompressed-raw

And here:

https://blog.kasson.com/a7riv/sony-a7riv-edr-vs-raw-format-and-shutter-mode/

In short:

Sony compressed RAW is effectively only storing 13 bit of information, uncompressed RAW is storing the full 14 bit. Even in advanced testing, the actual measured difference in DR between compressed and uncompressed RAW is negligible (e.g. 0.1 stops in case of the A7RIV).

Compressed RAW also can introduce artifacts around sharp and extremely contrasty edges (e.g. star trails on a black sky). This happens only when that extreme contrast is present in a small block of 16 pixels in width and is bigger than about 11 stops. These artifacts certainly do exist. I haven't noticed them in any of my images. Ever.
