Picked up an X100S today with a shutter count of 15,700 for $400. Does that sound about right? It came with a Lensmate thumb grip and a cheapie lens hood and a filter on the front.

If its a Silver X100S in excellent condition, then that's a pretty good deal. I just sold my Silver X100S for closer to $500 but it came with three Fuji batteries, a Silver Fuji filter adapter, and a brand new Silver Fuji 49mm protection filter.

So far it seems like a slick little camera, but I've got a learning curve ahead of me I think.

The exterior of the body and controls are identical to the original X100 except for the S on the front. I have owned the original, the S, the T, and the F. If you don't care about video and only shoot stills, then the 100S is probably the best of the bunch. Beautiful images and simple straight forward controls.

Are there any "must read" web sites for this model? Any beginner tips? Thanks!

Download a digital copy of the user's manual to keep on you smartphone and computer and read it until you don't need it anymore. You can also find a ton of how to and review videos on YouTube.

Some out of my X100S
