I took the photo on the north east coast of England.

The photos I've seen since finding this coolpix section has really made me want a p950. I almost got one last year but bought a mft setup instead. It's nice but as someone who loves wildlife photography, there are days when the nikon will get the better photo I'm sure.

You know Eightace when I was looking the Kestrel something looked off about it - I was looking in the U.S. field guide and online, but didn't dawn on me it was a European/UK Kestrel.  My error on the ID. Now I see several differences.

Anyway, I had a young male American Kestrel today and one from last Spring.

My images are JPEG's and post-processing with FastStone Image Viewer. I also use PhotoscapeX - both are user friendly.
