Thanks to everyone who participated. The SD1/M was vey popular. Now onto smaller Merrills but every bit as good. I am suggesting limiting to 5 or 6 and then if you have more to show, do it a little later in the month.

OK let's see your "stuff".

Rick

Good stuff Rick the 3rd one is favorite

never owned the DPM’s 😰

Stunning shots, Rick.

Nos. 3 and 5 are my faves.

No. 3 looks like its had a lot of work done. I think I see colours in the background.

It's my least used of the Merrill clan -- rougher color palette plus a focal length that gives "leaning architecture" and isnt flattering for portraits....

Below are a few I like.

As a bonus, here's a gallery for anyone who is interested: https://lovingitaly.exposure.co/capri-tuscany-puglia-rome

It's the last trip we did, shot almost entirely with the DP1M as an experiment. I wanted to leave the full frame and lenses home, and travel with only the 1 and 3 Merrill brothers....then left the DP3M on the couch....OUCH. Its 50mm and great colors would have been perfect for portraits and details. Oh well, still got some good ones....and had 10 batteries for one camera! ;-)

All pink room of a lounge in Rome....only Merrill gets all those reds, pinks and oranges!

Thanks for contributing. The whole series is very good. I looked at the cow and thought "How can you not love this cow".
Thanks Rick. I have a cool video with that cow and at least 80 others her size eating, resting and sauntering around. The part that the video sometimes gives most isnt motion.....but SOUND. All those bells in the otherwise silent Dolomites is spectacular!

Cheers

Your gallery page is very beautifull and each, every photos is special. I m happy owning a DP1M too but I m new to it

very good choices...The bw/color combo (umbrellas) is great and the presentation of clouds by Merrill is as expected - excellent.

this is the selection of my pictures. unfortunately I sold the DP1M and bought the DPQ0. what I now regret ... don't get me wrong here, the DPQ0 has many advantages over the DP1M but the rendering is somehow different and I will never get used to the noise of the quattro series

I bought a DP1m and converted it to full spectrum last summer. Here are some of my favorite shots since then.
