Mirrorless should be cheaper than DSLR since it have no spendy optical system and everyone can make it.

That depends on the other tech that gets packed into the cameras. Also, ML is getting all the R&D right now they companies will charge more to recover that. Price is NOT set by cost to build, but by what the market will bare.

Canon led by Sony are dancing on the fire,

Camera: mirroless body is more expensive than dslr.

Lens: Some downgraded lens from EF (plastic construction, external zoom, no fluorite) is more expensive.

In 2021, people are wanting cameras systems that weigh less. This is why Canon is using material that weigh less. Certainly, they know how to build lenses made from metal.

Some RF lenses are heavier and bulkier than their EF counterparts.

I can’t think of any right off the bat, so they must not be the ones I use. Which ones are you thinking of?

The RF 50 and 85 f/1.2L primes are quite bigger and heavier than the EF equivalents

Nikon set the right price.

But their brought the wrong product and will likely suffer because of it.

And phone manufacturer will win.

Win what? Smartphones have played out.

Smartphones are a different product. A car can bring you from A to B and a moped or (e-)bike as well. But this does not make a bike or moped a car.
Same with smartphones and real cameras.

True. But I didn’t bring smartphones into this conversation.
