Is the 14mm f/2.8 an overkill for the X-T200 or will it make the difference?

I love the compactness and lightness of the X-T200 while still having a comfortable grip to hold the camera with my thumb and fingers compared to the X-E4 for instance that would need too add an extra grip for comfort.

Said that, I was wondering if the 14mm would give me sensible better IQ than the 15-45mm on the wide end in this bayer sensor. Has anybody paired this camera and lens?

No, it's definitely not going to be "overkill". If anything it'll be better than most of Fuji's other cameras since it has a bayer sensor instead of X-trans. Else what camera you put a lens on doesn't matter much.

When it comes to the lenses the 14/2.8 will be better than the 15-45mm, but you might not always notice a huge difference between them.
