Duracell NP-FW50 battery and original Sony BC-VW1 charger

I have a Sony SLT-A35 camera that uses NP-FW50 batteries. The old original Sony battery has marking 7.2 volts and the new Duracell NP-FW50 battery has marking 7.4 volts. So the Duracell battery would be 0.2 volts higher than the original battery.

Question 1:
Is there any chance that the 0.2 volt difference could damage the camera?

I have also the original Sony BC-VW1 battery charger. When I charge the old battery, it takes 2-3 hours to charge the battery and the indicator light turns off after the battery has been fully charged.

I yesterday tried charging the new Duracell NP-FW50 battery in the Sony BC-VW1 charger and still after 7 hours of charging, the indicator light was still on in the charger.

Question 2:
Is the new battery malfunctioning or is there some other reason why the battery charger indicator light doesn't turn off?

ANSWER:
This question has not been answered yet.
