X-T200 re-focuses even when shutter button is not released all the way. Can this be changed?

When I take photos with my X-T3 (AF-S mode) I can release the shutter button only half way after the first photo is taken to keep the focus locked, then I can keep taking photos without the camera re-focusing as long as I don’t relay ease the button all the way.

But the X-T200 refocuses every time, even when I don’t release the button all the way.

Is there a way to make the X-T200 behave the same way as the X-T3?

Before anyone suggests back button focusing, I know about that and I use it. Sometimes I want to shoot the way I described above though. That’s why I’m making this thread to ask for help.
