Anyone using Tamron AF 35-150/2,8-4 Di VC OSD on R5 ?

Good or bad?

I’m using the lens in my R5, before in my R.

it focuses faster with the R5 but it is still a slow lens, not suitable for fast movements, ok for portraits. Specially in bursts you can tell how slow it is…

The lens is sharper in borders and corners than my old Canon 70-200 f4 non-is.
The colors are too warm, not as warm as Samyang but definitely warmer than my other lenses, much worse than the Canon ef 70-200 f4 non is I directly compared to. Curious how this lens is warmer than it’s brother the Tamron 17-35. Seems the later is more landscape focused and the former more portrait focused…

the stabilisation worked good enough with the R, but with the R5 my non stabilised lenses work better than the Tamron with VC. It seems both ibis and lens VC are NOT working together.

For example, at 35mm I can handhold up to 2s with the sigma 35mm 1.4 or with the Tamron 17-35mm f2.8-4, but with the Tamron 35-150mm at the came focal length I can only go down to 1/4s or so…

ok, the IBIS+VC not working together I wonder what it's falling back to ibis or VC....

What's your thoughts on R5+ Tamron 17-35mm F2.8-4 Di OSD?

Drawbacks:

* Rotating focusring .

* No lenscorrection in camera......

How about AF sound is it loud ? is it a problem in video?

How does it perform in video with no lens corrections?
