Getting older means for me getting lazy to take my good camera when traveling, taking more photos done with iPhone... Thinking to give up lovely but big full frame Canon R with 35mm to compact and stylish x100. I already touched one, gave to my daughter x100T for b-day few years ago. I like rangefinder design and simplicity.

So, questions... What do you think about upcoming X100 version? What to expect, reasonably? I would like to see full frame sensor but looks unrealistic. I would love to see native b/w sensor but looks not-even-dream-about-it. Better lens? Better sensor? Titanium alloy body? I appreciate any opinion, shared

I would like to see:

-better weather sealing specifically with rubber gaskets around the battery door and port door

-better AF especially AFC and eye AF

-more defined indents between ISO settings on the ISO dial

-lockable exposure compensation dial

-better battery life

-stronger built in flash

-return of the D pad

-full use of the touchscreen for selecting menu items

-ability to select different AF point colors aside from white

I killed my X100V recently at Niagara Falls but it has been the only camera that I have ever truly fallen in love with despite its faults.  I have owned the Panasonic GX7, GM5, Sony A7RII, A7RIII, and A9 and none of them ever filled me with such joy as the Fuji.  Taking it with me on my recent road trip made me instantly realize that I never want to take my Sonys with me for travel ever again.
