I’d add lens selection to the list of Sony’s advantages but other than that I agree with you.

I’d be more inclined towards the R6 rather than the A7iv, personally. But it is also far from perfect.

There’s more than just breathing room for an X-H2. There’s a hole in the market that is practically begging for it.

Start with the X-H1…

1. New sensor/processor.
2. Downsize the body slightly.
3. X-T4 battery.
4. Great AF.
5. Flippy screen.
6. Stills/Video switch from X-T4.
7. 4k120 with minimal crop a ala X-T4’s HD 120.
8. Replace the drive dial with custom mode dial.
9. Refresh the 18-55 kit lens.
10. USB-C, full HDMI, mic and headphone jack.
11. A couple new film sims and digital teleconverter for funsies.

$2299 with kit lens, $2099 without.

I’d sign up for that in a heartbeat.

X-T5 could be the exact same thing but in the X-T body with tilt screen.

I agree with this and would like to see this differentiation with the X-T5.
