Noise and banding

So, I shoot for my school district and am required to use a gh5 and a 12-35 2.8 is ll in all situations when i am shooting paid events for them. I also shoot with a em1mkl and a 75 1.8. I know you should rely on the ibis to not ride the iso and not modify the picture control, but is there anything else i can do for noise and banding past iso 2000?  I am coming from a d3s, d4, and a d600. At low isos my m43 cameras will take my nikon flagships, but my d600 obliterates them. Also, when it comes to high iso the fx nikons take the m43 cameras. Any tips on combating this?  I know it's impossible to avoid, but i digress
