I really like this composition, and I like it a bit more in B&W.  Note that the girl alone indicates motion; everything else is static. Also, the girl and what she's wearing are the only soft things; everything else is hard. The girl is at a perfect rule-of-thirds position horizontally and close to that vertically. And, the signpost and shadow create a sort of "V" space that draw the eye to her all the more. This image is a remarkable collection of shapes and textures in a small area.

Note the ancient bricks that meld at an odd angle with the stone wall. I wonder if the image is not only cropped but tilted. Was the girl walking more definitely up a grade than it appear here? My one slight and  tentative criticism is that I suspect the image might gain a wee bit of punch if the stonewall and brick were a smidge darker.

The color rendition is nice. To my taste, the B&W is great.
