A7IV & the Artificial Light Sensor - How Important Is It?

Hello,

I am considering the A7IV but would like to know more about the role of the artificial light sensor and how the camera will perform without it compared to the models with it.

I have been a Canon shooter forever but do more video now. I have heard past Sony cameras struggled a bit in mixed lighting which brought about the need for the artificial light sensor.  If it is important, I am kind of surprised to see it excluded on this camera as it seems like a step forward for the entire Alpha line.

Do you think this will have a large impact on the camera's images during event photography use?  For me it is a choice between R5 + R6 or A7sIII + A7IV.

Thanks.
