Sigma 300/2.8 EX HSM for Deep Sky Imaging?
1

I had the opportunity to test this lens for 30 days to see how well it performed doing DSO imaging.
Before I got my hands on this copy, most astrophotographers told me that I would be better off buying a real refractor for DSO. I don’t disagree with them, nor do I fully agree.
All refractor were ”slower” on paper than this bad boy is and I was quite pleased with my Canon EF 300/4L. I just wanted something even better.
So is this lens better? Yes AND No!
