I just tried my 70-200 2.8 FL on my D850 for the first time, and man is it heavy and awkward. Holding the lens so I can turn the zoom in my left hand and the camera grip in my right hand, creates a triangle with no support on the left corner. It's like a two-legged stool. I'm feeling a lot of weight on my right wrist trying to hold the camera up. I wonder if anybody could share a picture of how they do it? With or without the tripod mount? (Presuming a photography site allows you to upload photographs).

Thank you,

Jim

Has ever been thus with SLR or similar style bodies.  Zoom ring at the back, zoom with thumb and pinky; at front, with thumb and forefinger.
