M6 Mark II and Sigma 150-600 Sport
Re: M6 Mark II and Sigma 150-600 Sport
R2, thanks for the confirmation that the add-on viewfinder works well with the M6 Mark II. It's been maybe 10 years, but I believe the Olympus PEN cameras with their add-on viewfinders at the time could easily be de-attached. I disliked that add-on so much, that was one of the main reasons I switched from Olympus to Canon, where I bought my first Canon DSLR camera, the Canon T2i (550D). It's a must that I have a viewfinder. I occasionally will use the LCD screen, but in sunny weather it's difficult to see and I don't like the way that the camera shakes (using the LCD). With my older cameras (where using high ISO levels could be a problem) I would keep them very steady with slow shutter speeds when using the telephoto lens. I mean my shutter speeds would be "crazy" slow. The viewfinder along with other techniques allowed me the opportunity to do that, without using a tripod. But if the M6 Mark II add-on viewfinder is attached strongly, so it's difficult to accidentally fall off, that's great. I wish Canon made the M6 with a built-in viewfinder. Why did they design the Canon M50 Mark II with a built-in viewfinder and did not include that with the more expensive M6 Mark II camera, with the 32.5 mp sensor? Consequently I bought two Canon M50 Mark II cameras. The Canon M6 Mark II was off my list of choices.
