Sigma has stated they are interested in producing lenses for the XF mount and I expect it will happen eventually when the supply lines get back to where they were before the pandemic. I am particularly interested in the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 DC DN which is much smaller and less than half the weight (290 grams) of the Fujinon XF 16-55 f2.8 (A.K.A. "The Brick").   I wish Fujifilm would make a similar XC lens. I shot Nikon for many years and used Sigma, Tokina, and Tamron lenses without issues and without a aperture rings so I'm hoping for more third party lenses for my XT-2.
