Canon lenses no longer discontinued
4

As of a few months ago, every Canon EF or EF-S lens I own was discontinued.  That is no longer the case, as they are shown in the current online Canon USA catalog.  These include the common kit lenses such as EF-S 18-55, 10-18, 55-250, and 60 mm macro.  The older EF-S 18-55 /3.5-5.6 IS STM is out of stock, but they are selling it with the 90D.  It's a nice lens, by the way.  It has a much closer minimum focusing distance than the EF-S 18-55 /4-5.6 IS STM.  And the EF-S 55-250 was much missed.

At the time these lenses were discontinued, it was taken as a strong sign that Canon was abandoning APS-C SLRs.  But these lenses are back.
