What Lenses to Take Along

Recently got back from a trip to the Southwest (U.S.)... Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyonlands, Horseshoe Bend, etc...

The gear I took along, are (Nikon)

-D8xx, Z6-II

- 14-24, 24-70, 70-200 (the original stated trifecta); 24-70 on Z6-II

- Each Camera had it's battery loaded + 2 extra batteries

- Filters: ND, CPL

- Full size tripod + BH

- MS Surface Pro w/2 Hard-Drives for image backup every night.

- Chargers, cables, etc...

All the camera gear and Surface Pro fit into one camera bag (Think Tank). The tripod fit into the checked-in suitcase (not other way about it, due to it's size).

I used all 3 lenses on the D8xx, and have now processed (some) of the images. I'm happy with the results. Most importantly, family loved the sites and enjoyed as did I, but also managed to get the photography done in the evenings and early morning. Will be sending out images for enlarging and framing. As usual, I will get a photo album made of the trip since it's a family trip.

What about you... what do you do with your images from a trip (family or pure photography)?

Cheers... keep shooting
