Ricoh as alternative to Voigtlander viewfinder?

Hi,

I thought I had a 28mm Voigtlander Brightline viewfinder on order but it fell through (seems they're getting harder to source as I've had two vendors cancel my orders). It's to be used on an M3, and maybe the iiif in the future.

I've been looking for alternatives and see the Ricoh GR come up, as well as the cheaper Canon.

Is there anything I should be aware of when looking at these alternatives in terms of aspect ratio? The Ricoh GR presumably came from the 28mm 2.8 LTM bundle, which I assume was made for Leica cameras, and therefore aspect ratio should be correct, correct?

Any others I should consider?

TIA
