Is there a copyright issue with embedding a video on your website?

I have a client that I am making a website for and taking photos and all that and they want me to embed a video from another website on theirs.

The video on the other website is embedded in a way that most people would not be able to figure out how the video is hosted but digging through the code I was able to find out it’s hosted on Vimeo and I can embed a link to the Vimeo on the site I’m making.

It seems fine on the face of it, people embed YouTube videos on other sites all the time. But for some reason I feel dirty doing it. If it was a photo I took from some other website that would be obvious copyright infringement but sites like Vimeo and YouTube provide embed links and basically ask you to share it so I don’t know.

I know with all copyright questions I’d need a lawyer to really know but I wanted to hear people’s thoughts here

Thanks,
