best filter "system" as opposed to screw in filters, cost?

Hi , not a big user of filters over the years , but as I am leaning towards landscape more (in my old age , although I have a lot of kit , I only have a couple of filters ,and worse , none of them fit any of my "Z" lenses . so I was going to just buy a cp for my 24-70 f2.8S . but then I got to thinking , I also like shooting landscape shots with the 70-200S , and they use different filter thread sizes , along with now owning another 6  Z lenses , I was thinking maybe  a square filter system may actually be cheaper in the long run and work with most if not all of the lenses I have, so I guess I am asking which way you guys lean on the subject and some recommendations would be great , as with the reason for owning "Z" (S) lenses, quality is important , but I wont deny price will play a part too.

thanks all.
