Looks good. Can you elaborate on how your worry about the focal length went away?

As an enthusiast, I spent my first few years of photography shooting 35mm, and then 50mm, which became by far my favourite focal length.

When I got the GR III, I got it despite the 28mm. I wanted it for everything else, not that. I learned to use it though, and in the end, even love it.

For almost 2 years now, I'd be shooting solely 28mm and was happy with the results. I had always said how I'd love a normal range prime fixed lens compact and got really excited with the iiix announcement, but then I got terrified that after getting so used to 28mm, I would find 40mm too tight.

Eh, the moment I turned the IIIx on and took a few shots, it went away by itself. I realised I don't need a viewfinder any more than I did with the 28mm (yay, no need for GV-3) and that I like the output a lot.
