Totally disagree. Nikon understands that the Z9 is the D6 successor and will make sure its AF is as good if not better than the D6 and the A9II.

Nikon will never make a MILC camera that beats its flagship DSLR ,I’d like to say they ain’t that stupid but you never know , Nikon is not going to abandon its DSLR flagship line just because they made its first pro body Z , to even think that is ridiculous, a D7 is in the works and it’s AF will be top notch , the Z equivalent will always lag behind

Nikon will never make a Digital slr camera that beat it's film camera's. They ain't that stupid, but you never know.

M Lammerse,

This last statement makes no sense, unless you're trying to be ironic or you're mocking what's been said above.

Nikon DSLRs have long ago exceeded the ability of film cameras in usability, convenience, economy of shots multiple and resolution. The digital lenses have gotten better too.

We'll have to wait and see if the Z9 will exceed DSLRs in all of it's advantages over mirrorless. "It ain't over 'till the Fat Lady sings".
