M6 Mark II and Sigma 150-600 Sport

Hi everyone. I've been using m6 mark ii with sigma 100-400 for a while now. I really like the combo. But I want more reach and considering the sport version of the 150-600 lens because I got a good deal. Lens is not here so I can't test it personally.

Is it too adventorous to handhold it or carry while walking?

Has anyone tested the combination? Is the af fast enough? I' m asking this because I used the 100-400 on 7d mark ii and af was faster on that body.

I generally shoot from the car window and sometimes walk around but I dont like carrying a tripod or a monopod. It would also be good beacause if I switch to full frame in the future, 600 mm seems lomg enough.
