Desert garden at sunset
6

Fall, warm days and cool nights in the high Arizona desert. At a friend's place, their garden glowing in the afternoon sun. Peaceful and quiet, the essence of the admonition by the ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus to keep a pleasant garden and invite your friends over. That and avoiding pain as the secrets to a good life, he taught... and who could dispute it? And cactus in the gathering dark, their mysterious shapes edge-lit at sunset.

Used TAv, and the ISOs are much higher than you'd expect because I had the Singh-Ray ND filter/polarizer filter on the 20/40 lens. Even at the 'lightest' setting, you lose at least 2 stops. No actual reason for having the filter for this... it was just on the lens from a previous day; doesn't seem to interfere too much with generic daylight photos.
