The major reason why I bought a TT685s instead of a V860-II was the fact that it works with AA batteries. I can easily have several sets of charged AAs and if these are not enough the shooting can continue with non-rechargeable batteries.

The price difference contributed to the budget for an MS-300 which is a great help once I got a feeling for the power settings.
