The only issue with the R6s is its low MP count. The A7IV is going to be announced soon with very similar specs to the R6, but a 33 MP sensor. My disappointment with the R6 is part of what pushed me out of Canon RF. I don't *need* the A7IV but on paper at least it looks so compelling I might buy it.

It is the R6's MP count that is keeping me from making the plunge.

It is the R5's $$$ from going down that route

It is the various complaints on Nikon Z6/z7 series focusing that are making me consider other options.

It is various reviews, sample images, and reviews that show Fuji APC are soft and not as sharp as Canon/Nikon that has me avoiding them.

Sony is one still not explored much, other than their very confusing model naming convention a7III, a7riii, a7siii, ...  Maybe the upcoming a7iv will be the end-all solution that will put all my doubts to the end.

That said, Canon and Nikon have been primarily in my focus and pricing is a LARGE consideration.  This thread has been very interesting.
