I reached my frustration point before that was an option.  At one time I was actually holding out hope for a K1 with a Katz Eye focusing screen.  But the K1 seemed to take ages to reach the market, and Katz Eye went out of business, and then when the K1 finally shipped we learned the focusing screen was not designed to be easily replaced.  And that was sort of the last straw for me, because  by then I was already trying out adapted lenses on the Sony and finding out how well that works.
