When I bring my M6II I don't want to leave the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 at home. I don't need it on the camera all the time, but I do want to have it available in the bag. Just 11-22mm and 32mm is too many lens changes in some circumstances.

The weight of the Sigma 18-35mm is the same as the EF 24-70mm f/2.8 USM mkII, the latter is benefiting from IBIS, and f/2.8 isn't dramatically different to the f/1.4 of the 32mm and the same as the f/1.8 of the sigma, there's 70mm instantaneously if it's about subject separation, DR and better high ISO performance does the rest.

The problem of M: I don't need a bright zoom, but I do want a very good zoom. The only very good zoom is 800 grams + adapter, and that's making me leaving M at home often.

I love 50mm (equivalence)
