Hi everyone, the International Space Station was passing over our house tonight just after sunset. As Venus was next to the Antares I hoped the station would pass close to both.

Whilst waiting, the sky was so clear I decided to grab my G9 with the permanently attached 10-25 f1.7. As it was close at hand it was quick to get, however my tripod was not

So hand held it would be and if nothing was usable well thats on me. Still the cameras in body stabilisation saved the day and left me with a photo to remember the night.

And one of the moon from last night.

Astro photography is not a regular thing for me,  however looking at and loving the night sky never gets old.

Stephen.
