Bottomline

Hold on to your M body, whatever model it may be, if that works for you. My choice to go full blown into the RF system is not for everyone, but it's also something you can learn from. Might make you see exactly why the M system is best for you. Might make you see a mix of M and RF does the trick for you. Or why it's time to set your M system aside in favor of RF, Fuji or something else.

It is the M5 that first made me invest in the M system. It's the body for which I bought the 22mm, 28mm, 32mm. The M6ii is what made me crave for the Sigma 16mm.

Yet the 15-45mm kit lens, no doubt, has been my travel favorite for a long time. Light and image-stabilized, it's probably one of the best kit lenses Canon ever built for any system.

Au revoir!
