Re: Fujifilm X-Trans II film like qualities?

I own two Fuji cameras, an x100T (with the Xtans 2 sensor) and an Xpro3 (with an Xtrans 4 sensor).   I've also owned the Xpro 2 (with the Xtrans 3 sensor) which i've sold by now.

All great cameras, and yet, there's a difference in the photos. It actuaally took me a while to realize that most of my 'best' photos ('best' meaning the ones I like the most) were shot with the X100T.  Yes they do have that film quality, mostly in B&W.  I'm not sure I see that in the color shots, but than again most of my shots are B&W.  I wish my Xpro3 had that sensor, the new sensors produce more lavish photos but lack that old organic feel. In a way its like the difference between the imppecable (but sterile) digital CD sound in comparison with the warm analog sound of a vynil LP.

However, most of the photographers i've discussed this with, claimed that it's all in my head

It comes down to specs vs soul...
