Spiratone Anastigmat 35mm

What a great little lens for casual macro photography. I found out about the lens at this place: https://www.coinimaging.com/spir35.html

It's main use is for macro stacking, due to the fact that optimal resolution is at f.4.0. But I found out today that it is ok to use for casual macro and flowershots.

Adaptation is both easy and hard. I used a broken m42 lens (Domiplan 50mm), removed the glass elements, and used superglue to fix the Spiratone in reverse for use with M42 adapters. Center sharpness and color redering is great! And it is easy to make it work in reverse if you have some dead lenses lying around and som superglue. Total price for the construction was $10. For use with m4/3 I used a m42 adapter. Added benefit of using Oly camera is the 2x crop factor, that removes the worst blur of the corners.

Olympus Pen, 1600 ISO.
