My typical combo now will be the R + R6 or the RP + R6. I added back the RP to my system so I don’t have to miss the portability of the M6 Mark II. The RP with the RF35mm is quite portable. Very portable with the RF50mm 1.8 (which makes me lose IS, just like my erstwhile favorite combo M6II+32mm).

It is great that you can both afford an FF kit and are willing to carry it while traveling. I sure did my part of traveling with an FF DSLR kit. For years I took my FF kit to all kinds of places all over the world.

Now I have different priorities and point of view.

Have fun with on your photography journey. It's a pitty you won't be positing photos in the M forum any more.

On a side note... Having your PC running overnight and feeling that on your wallet when paying your electricity bill sucks. While cameras and lenses may be expensive in my part of the world, my electricity bills are just peanuts.

Whether or not I want my PC to run DxO to process my M6II raw files or not is really a peripheral concern to me. That's just how cropped sensors will always be, and that's a major point for me. It needs heavy lifting from a software offered by DxO, etc. especially for shots at ISO800 and higher even when using a 1.4 lens. More photography, less post-processing for me makes much more sense.
