I seldom shoot wide, which is one reason I don't see a need to buy an m4/3 wide lens.  That said, I do have the older Oly 4/3 9-18 lens that I suspect performs about as well as the m4/3 version.  This lens was part of a combo purchase I made of an E-420, 14-42mm, 9-18mm, and 40-150mm in the original 4/3 format (for $100 US).    For those unfamiliar with these lenses, they are small, light & work quite well with an adapter on my em1.2.  The camera is used by a family member with the 14-42mm attached.  It's perfect for them.  Both the 9-18 and 40-150 are perfectly sharp with good contrast when stopped down to f5.6, which is where they are set most of the time.  I use the 9-18, along with my PL 12-60 when I'm hired for real estate shoots.
