40mm lens on apsc cameras

Hi everybody,

with new FF 40mm lenses in e-mount universe I'm curious if somebody use them also on apsc cameras, maybe as your primary go to lens? It's like longer normal focal length, maybe too long for everyday use? Please share your experience!

I kind of like idea of Batis 40 f2 CF on my A6400 because of interesting rendering and close focus, but the size and price (even used one) discourages me from purchase. There is also new Sony 40 f2.5 for half the size and price, but lens in general seems not much interesting for apsc use. What do you think about it?
