Re: Why did you choose mirrorless ?

I have both mirrorless and DSLR. The mirrorless get more use just because they are smaller and easier to take on hikes and general walking about.

I originally got mirrorless out of curiosity to see what this new approach was about. My first was the original Panasonic G1, which was already quite old by then. I really liked it ergonomically and operationally but its IQ was a bit limited (particularly DR). I have had quite a few different mirrorless (and different DSLRs) from m4/3 to FF. For a short time I went solely mirrorless, really for portability more than anything, but soon enough added a DSLR back into the mix.

Now I like the various advantages of each system and will continue to use both for quite a while, but mirrorless will probably increasingly get the most use.
