Not all of us are professional photographers. Some of us are just casual photographers. For me, it's more important to have the camera with me at all times hence the importance of size and weight. My M100+22mm is always at arms reach. I'll sacrifice some of the photo quality for portability. I like to take random shots of every day things that I find amusing. I can't carry a camera bag with me my entire waking hour.

If I'm a professional photographer then yes, photo quality will be my main priority over size. It would be a different story.

It's like arguing what is best, cars vs. trucks vs. SUV vs. motorcycle.

Right. It thus evades me why there's so much whining from those who feel the need to keep defending their chosen systems. I wrote this in my OP:

"Do I recommend this for all M system fans? No. The 32mp inside the M6II is a very capable sensor. It is not perfect. It does need some help from DxO software past ISO800. But the level of detail it captures, with the right lens and the right settings, is worthy of praise."

I enjoy my M100+22mm a lot due to its size and weight. Although if Ricoh have resolved the dust issue with the GR IIIx, I might give that one a try. That's APS-C camera that legit fits inside your pant pocket. It weighs only 262 grams, about half a pound.

My wife and I still take along her M3+22mm. She absolutely loves this combo and ease of use.
