I still have to send mine back to canon. Ive been testing the m50 that i wasnt impressed with in 2019 (the files are noisy as all hell, but  they respond well to adobe raw NR)- and lo and behold...it actually focuses, unlike the m6mkii.
In fact, its hard to MISS focus with the m50. I do hope canon can fix this second m62, that said I'm already getting ready to send it to the the bin or tell canon to buy it back from me. Bad AF means the camera is useless.

In terms of this post ...i dont get the logic. These are just tools, if they work well, keep them and get more tools down the line. To give up a tool because of future growth just seems like misplaced wishes and dreams. I can see the limits if you dont adapt glass to it, but the body already covers portraits, ultra-wides, and basic telephoto. So where would you want it to grow?
Anywho, at this point in my photo life, if a body works great, im buying two. Reliable tools are the just the best.
