Sure... and the OP is going to only ever travel with the 50 STM on his camera. No matter where he goes or what he shoots... Right.

Unless just maybe he'd like to take along a travel zoom someday? Or even a standard zoom? Let's see...

RP + travel zoom. M6ii + travel zoom. M6ii + standard zoom.

The M6ii also isn't portable with my 16-35mm, with my Tamron 35-150mm, with my 100-400mm.

I certainly wouldn't consider any of those threee to be travel lenses for my own kit!

It's a joy to shoot the RP with the RF35mm btw. Almost perfect on the hands. Smaller doesn't always mean more ergonomic. Ergo vs portable.

I understand. Your focus when travelling is on photography. So you don't mind trucking a larger kit around. Heck, I took a FF SLR on my honeymoon to Maui (yes, we're still married ). But now, I'd much rather wear a miniscule hip bag with my M6ii + 15-45 for care-free bopping around.

All I'm doing here is pre-warning you about the changes to come.

Enjoy what you have for now!

One of the best fits for me was actually the EF28mm 2.8 IS USM with adapter on the M6II. That's a combo I'll miss. On the R body with adapter, it looks weird but feels ok.
