Portability is of course still slightly to the M series camp. But the RP with 50mm 1.8 isn't that bad in terms of portability as well,
“Not that bad” (RP), and “Excellent” (M6ii) are on 2 different levels.

You missed the part about "with 50mm 1.8"
LOL. Seems you missed the part about "every other equivalent lens in the RF catalog being monstrous in comparison."
The OP only referenced the RF 50mm in terms of portability, which you ignored and instead focused on the size of the bodies. There are several other compact RF lenses, but they are not comparable to any EF-M lenses given the radically different focal lengths and/or equivalent apertures.
Once you add the lenses, there is not much difference in size and only 2 grams difference in total weight
Sure... and the OP is going to only ever travel with the 50 STM on his camera. No matter where he goes or what he shoots... Right.
Unless just maybe he'd like to take along a travel zoom someday? Or even a standard zoom? Let's see...
RP + travel zoom. M6ii + travel zoom. M6ii + standard zoom.

According to their gear list, the OP only owns one out of those three lenses. Who cares if the RF 24-240mm is bigger than the EF-M 18-150mm if the OP has no interest in owning either of those lenses. I could put out an equally pointless comparison between the RF 16mm f/2.8 and the EF-M 11-22mm where size, price, and weight are basically the same, but the RF kit is much brighter and has a much wider field of view.
16mm field of view on full frame vs. widest possible 18mm field of view on the M system
Let me know when Canon launches a compact 10mm f/1.8 prime in EF-M mount.
