Yup, it makes a huge difference with those 1" sensor (actually sub-1", since it doesn't use the whole thing) photos. I made a thread over in the Sony Cybershot forum if you'd like to see an example. It's like that little camera magically got a bigger sensor.

Thanks! I'm also finding it is great for pushing shadows on backlit portraits. I took a picture of my kids and some of their friends this evening in front of a sunset. I reduced the exposure compensation to -1 to preserve the highlights in the clouds, so as you can imagine, the faces were really dark. DxO's Smart Lighting + Deep Prime did an amazing job brightening up the faces without adding any noticeable noise. I won't post it here since I haven't asked permission from the other kids' parents, but I was very impressed with that. I'm sure DPP4 would not have given me a satisfactory result. So yeah, I think I'm becoming a convert...
