Seems to be a number of comments that the Panasonic UWA lenses have problems with purple blobbing on Olympus cameras. However those comments seem to be older, newer comments say it's not a problem. I am looking at the Panasonic 7-14 F4 as good compromise of cost and function. It will be used with my M5.3 or M10.2 for interior travel photos(Museums, restaurants). Does anyone use this combo that can comment on this?

Thanks - Bill

I have the Panny 7-14 and the Oly M10.2.   Yes there can be problems depending on direction and intensity of light ... it is not 'always' there.   What / when there is, it does not bother me too much but having said that,  I bought a Panny GH3 partly because of the problem and notice only very little (if any) purple flare / blobs / fringing with that combo.

I hope that that helps.
