Tinted filter on a digital camera?

My latest lens, the Hexanon 28mm f3.5 is sharp, contrasty, and has bold colors. The issue I am having is those colors are great for giving a vintage look, but I have been having a hard time to getting them to look more natural with processing.

I figured since, when I purchased it, it came with a Hoya Skylight (1B), I would test it out. For those unaware, a Skylight (1B) has a slight rose tint. I also happened to have a second one lying around from a different lens purchase so I figured I would also try stacking them.

The setup was on a tripod with a fixed ISO, SS, and aperture; auto WB. Late afternoon (warm sunlight). SOOC.

Images in next post, If anyone is interested, I can also post the raws.
