Canon 70-300 4.0 IS (older lens model) vs Canon 55-250 STM
1

I have an M50 only and recently sold the 55-250 stm and bought a copy of the 70-300, the old copy with IS. I thought it would produce a little better quality and have  the extra length. I'm using the adapter of course. Did I make a mistake, the 70-300 seems awful heavy in comparison. Using "The digital picture comparison" they seemed equal in quality. Should I go back to the 55-250, it works better size and weight wise?
