Z7 AF great to me (even 1st Gen)

I bought the Z7 when first came out, I had an AF learning curve but after that I found all the negative comments greatly exagerated. I recall those days when I had no AF, the fastest film was ISO400 (very noisy) and yet we were able to take good photos.
Anyway yesterday I went to San Francisco shooting the Blue Angels and other airplanes, all was done in AF-C in H speed and I virtually have 100% keepers. Much better results now that what I got in previous years with my DSLR (D800E, D7200) . The lens is the same and is clearly not optimized for the Z, it's just a Sigma 150-600 Sport on the adapter but it tracked beautifully. The background with the hills, or the smoke never distracted the AF even with passages at very high speed. I can only say good things about the Z7 AF
