I know its a tad too long for most to consider as 'standard', but the prime that is on my 5n most of the time (about 70%) is the FE85mm f1.8

After that i switch to an old legacy Pentax 20mm f4 - i'm very interested in the recent FE20mm f1.8 (rather than the SEL 20mm f2.8) when funds allow (no time soon), and then i go ultra-wide with the UWA adaptor on the SEL 16mm (rarely do i use the 16mm by itself)

This is really unusual standard prime for apsc camera But of it works for you, why not. I still kind of consider 85mm as long portrait lens instead of 50mm.

For beginner I would probably recommend as "first prime" probably something between 18 and 35mm.
